Americans have every reason to be frightened of their own government. I believe this was always so.How else could a mass of land be as free as we are . Without the leasers, the owners etc of this mass of land frightening the notion of any kind of serious questioning of their leaders which might lead to a revolt of some kind . We must respect the ruling class. Who after all realize that first and foremost know that their duty is protect it's people from themselves and their often misguided sense that their freedoms must be more and more curbed to keep their freedom .One of the easiest ways to accomplish this task is through using man's own predisposition to "fit in",to not be the black hen pecked to pieces by those born "the right way"(or what some might say "the white way'). Therefore the ruling class is wise to take advantage of our nature of "herding" and bullying those who do not share their traits. Why should "want of certain traits".....STYLE...the right LOGO on one's shirt ,shoes,handbag be used to keep us all in tow? If only to emphasize a common reference point toward to an understood norm .The easiest way to create a common norm is to mediate a common norm.Media first and foremost is meant to mediate but the media does much more to help us diminish any inner conflict via the human mind's use of vicarious stimuli to vent it's frustrations that 'the world is not as it should be"..That in time long ago man and woman could live off the land,a land not "estate" to other's. hunt and gather and sleep outside ,even in winter under pelts of animals skin ..animals who for the most part were also not owned and rendered..in ways one must never think too much about...To make sure one's mind is cultivated to think away from progress of man..by technology and innovation...whatever conflicts remain in the primal parts of the masses it was noted could be quelled to a large degree by myth.Myth allows one to "re-allot" their storyline.. and story telling also allows one to "Place themselves" outside of their inner conflict..Storytelling also helps one safely vent...Patriotism can bring about camaraderie .Flag waving (and in the pat also cross burning) was a fine way for a public to"let off steam .The vehicle of Television can act as a collective venting system so we may vicariously FEEL and SENSE ourselves beyond whatever financial,social and biological limitations we might feel limit us .As vicarious these inner conflicts can be resolved through television.

nor will we wince IF it is properly explained to us that for TV to be more personal
this camera MUST record and interpret our pupillary responses and uses software that uses facial recognition data to decode what
"likes"
our uncensored unconscious "gives away" lend via physiological 'tells"to our interactive electronic experience
when and not if it becomes the social norm
to "let" various industries ,first medical(to more effectively gauge our 'human condition" via bio medical sensors adapted to "work with our bodies ONLY if these sensors are inside our bodies )
once we have grown accustomed to this "novelty"
it will be "a choice, not a worry
introducing bio technology that interprets our brain signals into words,pictures,and emotions that can be collected and analyzed and therefore used to
make us smarter and also
make our subjective sense of reality open for augmentation(virtual reality)and thus sensory enhancement

movies and tv shows have taught us to snicker at being "in' on the game..that politicians ..care not a damn
about anything but handshake deals and their own very private interests
because we "at least know this"
makes it..not necessarily "right"
but oh how so right it is that because of our freedoms..the media is aloud to "wink,wink" and
"show us" this corruption..
how far this goes
to "make up" for all wrong do-ings
that out society is free enough to 'expose" the power elite ..for "what they are"
on Tv and film..
the very fact we can "blow of steam' through the media..somehow makes
it all so much easier to take.
